John and Sarah
John
and Sarah were introduced by mutual friends under the sunny skies of a hot Florida
day. John was serving in the military and Sarah’s parents had been in the military
during her teenage years so when he asked her to marry him and live near his base
she went happily.
A fun loving and free spirited couple, John and Sarah wanted a happy, festive
wedding with lots of bright sunshiny color and big orange and fuchsia Gerbera daisies
on the tabletops at the reception. Bringing their two large families together and
making a huge celebration was their main focus.
They married in a traditional Christian ceremony in a beautiful church with large
stained glass windows and dark wood pews. Light shone down on Sarah’s six attendants
bringing to life their dreamy tangerine gowns and lighting up the festive tulle
wrapped around every other pew end. John’s groomsmen looked dashing in their bowler
hats and black tuxedos, a perfect accent for each of the lovely maids.
At the reception a long table held all manner of pink, and orange candies in a serve
yourself candy bar. Guests of every age enjoyed making their way past that table
often and slipping their favorite candies into glassine envelopes
with
specially printed seals. A celebratory time was had by all as dancing, dining and
much merriment went on into the wee hours. Even the children danced the night away!
Every table held the cherished Gerber daisies that Sarah longed for and the happy
bride and groom had the party of their lifetime.
